Moo Goo's Baby Gentle Shampoo is designed to be very gentle on the delicate scalp and skin of babies and young children as well as leaving hair silky soft. MooGoo use the most gentle natural cleansers and steer clear of synthetic preservatives. It’s also more gentle if accidentally washed into eyes. We aren’t promising it will always be easy, but we’ve done our best to help you.

Can I use MooGoo on a newborn?

We get this question a lot, and the simple answer is YES! All of the ingredients we use in our products are gentle enough for newborns, but we don’t recommend using our Night Cream or Anti-Ageing products on children. We suggest you always patch test first to check for allergies to any natural ingredients.

My baby accidentally ate some of the product, will they be ok?

We don’t recommend using our products as baby food, but if some is ingested you can rest assured that our products are made from 100% natural, edible ingredients.

'Fragrance' is listed as one of the ingredients in this product. What does this mean?

When we first started making products, we used a blend of essentials oils to give them a lovely fragrance. But many people have severe reactions and allergies to them, even in small amounts. As a result, and because we make products for people with sensitive skin, we took them out of most products. Instead, we helped to develop a special kind of fragrant oil, whereby each component in it is less than the EU allergy threshold. This is how we can have a pleasant-smelling product without the reactions. The scents we use are proprietary blends from the company we get them from, and we’ve had no reactions since we made the switch. Also, of course, it is free from phthalates, which is the main concern in fragrances.
