Orthoplex MitoLift is a potent supplement that may be of assistance in conditions associated with mitochondrial dysfuntion and oxidative stress. Mitochondrial dysfunction has been associated with a wide range of conditions including fatigue syndromes, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, bipolar disease and migraine.

The mitochondria are rich in antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase and reductase. However, the oxidant effects of reactive oxygen species can result in the depletion of critical protective antioxidants. If this occurs there will be increased susceptibility to cellular damage, for instance alterations in electrolyte transport across the cell membranes, and lower energy production.

Creatine monohydrate - 100 mg
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) - 400 µg
Cysteine - 50 mg
d-alpha tocopheryl acid succinate (vitamin E) - 10 mg (equiv. d-alpha-tocopherol 12IU)
Folic acid - 400 µg
Magnesium orotate - 100 mg (equiv. magnesium 6.56mg)
Nicotinamide (vitamin B3) - 50 mg
Phytomenadione (vitamin K) - 50 µg
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6) - 5 mg (equiv. Pyridoxine 3.43mg)
R,S alpha lipoic acid - 50 mg
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) - 20 mg
Thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1) - 15 mg
Ubidecarenone (CoQ10) - 30 mg
Zinc citrate - 5 mg (equiv. zinc 1.6mg)

Excipients: Povidone, crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, carnuaba wax, silica colloidal anhydrous, opadry clear 29020.

Orthoplex MitoLift is gluten, lactose and glucose free, and is suitable for vegetarians.


Suggested dosage

Adults: Take 1 tablet with each meal or as prescribed.


Interactions

Coenzyme Q10 is suspected to interfere with warfarin activity, though this interaction is not proven. Use with caution if taking blood thinning medications, due to vitamin K content.
