Susceptibility to infections depends upon the status of the immune system. The goal of treatment with homoeopathic combination preparations such as Engystol is to activate and support the endogenous defense mechanisms, i.e. to strengthen the body’s defense against infection.
Studies have shown that Engystol causes an increase in immune globulins and a rise in total T-lymphocytes.1,3 This clearly shows the stimulation of resistance capabilities of antihomotoxic medicines.

Prophylaxis and Improved Recovery Time
Another study by Herzberger and Weiser examined the effects of Engystol in relation to recovery time. An improvement of upper respiratory infections and flu symptoms was noted after 1-4 days in 50% of cases recorded using Engystol. Complete freedom from symptoms or clear improvement of symptoms was achieved in 9 out of 10 cases.2

Dosage Recommendations:
Adults and Children over 12 years: Acutely take1 tablet or the course of 1 oral ampoule every 15 minutes for up to 2 hours. For maintenance, take1 tablet three times daily or 1 oral ampoule 1-3 times weekly.
Children 6 – 11 years : Give 1 tablet two times daily
Children 2-5 years – Give 1/2 tablet 3 times daily
